To ensure the safety of everyone we have implemented more safety protocols to our operation.
- Continue to wear gloves with changing our gloves more often and washing our hands more frequently.
- Added wearing masks during all hours in the kitchen (prep, assembly and distribution of remote meals)
- Each work station wiped down every hour and upon completion of a task.
- Employees to take temperatures in a notebook each day. Anyone with above 100° will be sent home immediately.
- Maintain social distancing whenever possible during prep and assembly.
- There will be no share bins.
Yogurt Meals come with a variety of strawberry/banana, cherry or raspberry yogurt, cheese stick, goldfish cracker, dinner roll or pretzel rod and the fruit and vegetable of the day.
Uncrustable Meals come with an uncrustable, cheese stick, goldfish and the fruit and vegetable of the day.
Remote meals for the Finneytown schools for the 1st Quarter will be on Tuesdays starting September 8 from 11:30 - 1 pm and 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Please register for your meals by calling once to 513-576-2290 or 513-576-4160. You will only need to call back if you want to discontinue the meals to avoid charges. Meal distribution will be picked up in the circle at the Secondary Campus by the board office. The meals will be for Wednesday to the following Tuesday with a five day meal distribution. Meals will follow the Finneytown school schedule.
Remote learner meals for JPII will be on Mondays starting August 31 from 10 - 10:30 am. Please register for your meals by calling once to 513-576-2290 or 513-576-4160. You will only need to call back if you want to discontinue the meals to avoid charges. Meal distribution will be in the back by the dumpsters across from the playground. The meals will be for Tuesday to the following Monday with a five day meal distribution. Meals will follow the JPII school schedule.
Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. All meals, foods and beverages are prepared and served by qualified child nutrition professionals. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.
Some of the items prepared/served in our kitchen may contain peanuts, tree nuts, soy, wheat, fish, shellfish, egg, and milk, or be manufactured in a facility containing these allergens.
